Nature has sculpted some of the most spectacular terrain in the United States across Maine’s approximately 33,200 square miles. Of Maine’s nearly 150 courses, a few are municipal golf courses offering respectful competition to the other public links. One municipal golf course has been rated many times among the “best public courses” by Golf Digest. It is also the only facility in Maine to host a major USGA Championship.
