Sebago Lake State Park
Sebago Lake State Park is conveniently located in Casco, Maine, and is home to a beautiful Maine campground. Densely wooded, this state park is one of the original five in the state of Maine and remains a favorite of locals and visitors. Perched on the shores of Sebago Lake, Maine’s deepest lake, visitors are treated to views of the White Mountains, plenty of sandy beaches, and the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities.
The Maine campground located at Sebago Lake State Park offers 250 sites nestled amongst lush vegetation. An RV dumping station and RV hookup for electricity and water are both available at this Maine campground, making it wildly popular with families traveling with small children.
However, “wildly popular” translates into “books up early.” Sebago Lake State Park begins accepting reservations for their Maine campground as early as February 1st!
Even if you choose not to camp, there are plenty of other activities to keep visitors busy for the day including horseback riding, hiking, and sea kayaking in the warmer months as well as snowshoeing and snowmobiling opportunities once the snow flies. Marked trails and park roads offer plenty of places to bike and children staying at the park will enjoy the large playground.
When visiting Maine, don’t miss the opportunity to visit Sebago Lake State Park and all that it has to offer; you won’t regret getting a peek at what the locals call Big and Little Sebago.
