Salt Bay Chamberfest's 20th Anniversary Festival will be held August 5-16, 2014. Four evening concerts will be held on August 5, 8, 12 & 15 at 7:30 PM at Round Top Farm in Damariscotta. Programming will feature contemporary and classic chamber music with world-class performers, including the Minnesota Orchestra Maestro Osmo Vanska playing clarinet, violinist Erin Keefe, Jennifer Frautschi, New York Philharmonic bassist Tim Cobb and many more!. Works include Mendelssohn's Octet, Britten's Serenade for Tenor, Horn & Strings, Mozart's Quintet in G Minor, Bartok's Contrasts, Dvorak's Trio in G Minor, and other works by Beethoven, Chopin, Tsontakis, Saariaho, Debussy, Hua Yanjun, Zhou Long, Chen Yi, and a World Premiere by Erhu musician and Composer, Wang Guowei. The 2014 Salt Bay Chamberfest Family Concert will be held on Saturday, August 16 at 10:30 AM at Lincoln Theater in Damariscotta.
