Eagle Island

Coast Guard authorities razed the keeper's house and outbuildings, but the stone tower and a pyramidal bell tower still stand. It can be seen from the south end of Sylvester Cove on Deer Island or via mailboat cruise. Eagle Island Light was built in 1839.
