Located at the mouth of Little River, this white and green conical light guides mariners to pretty Cutler Harbor. The town has an active fishing fleet and, since 1960, has been an important Naval site for coastal defense.
The lighthouse is open to the public. It is available for overnight stays and is run by the Friends of Little River Lighthouse. It is also one of five area lighthouses that are sponsoring the Lights Across the Border Lighthouse Challenge.
Little River Island Lighthouse was built in 1847. Visit our website www.LittleRiverLight.org.
