Curtis Island

At the southeast end of Curtis Island, overlooking Camden Harbor, this light was named in honor of publisher Cyrus HK Curtis, a summer resident and town pillar. The grounds are maintained as a park by the town of Camden, but visitors must provide their own transportation. Good views of the light are available from the Lovely Lady Too cruise boat, booked through the The Elms B&B. Curtis Island Lighthouse was built in 1836.
