Dear Friend in the Media:

On behalf of the Maine Office of Tourism, welcome to the media room. We take great pride in this opportunity to introduce you to the state of Maine. We believe this information will give you a quick overview of what makes our state so special, while piquing your interest to learn even more.

Truly, there is no shortage of events, special places and outdoor adventures awaiting you in Maine. We encourage you to visit and explore our beautiful state. It would be our pleasure to offer suggestions on things to do, or places to see. Just e-mail us or call, we'll point you in the right direction.

We also regularly host media visits in all regions of the state. If you would like to join us on one of our media "adventures," please let us know by sending at least three published clips or a videotape of your show. We also maintain a list of journalists interested in visiting Maine and we would love to add you to that list. Please forward clips or videotape with that request as well.
