Images should be formatted to 72 ppi and no smaller than 300 by 225 pixels. File sizes must be less than 8MB per image. Acceptable file formats include .jpeg, .png and .gif formats.

Each file requires a location.

The Maine Office of Tourism reserves the right to determine the eligibility of all submissions to the “Share My Maine Memory” marketing program. All text and imagery submitted through the marketing program are subject to complete exclusion or editing as is appropriate to meet marketing objectives. Participation in the marketing program requires that all content and imagery must be rightfully and legally approved for use on VisitMaine.com. This approval includes, but is not limited to unrestricted photography usage rights, unrestricted model releases, and the exclusion of any copyrighted material. It is the responsibility of each individual who submits materials to obtain legal authority to publish the materials submitted. By submitting materials you are agreeing that you have obtained or are entitled to publish the materials as required by law; and further agreeing to indemnify and hold harmless the State of Maine and the Maine Office of Tourism from all claims that may result from your submission of materials or the use of the materials by the Maine Office of Tourism. In certain cases, the Maine Office of Tourism may require hard copy releases to be signed before materials can be published on the site.
