Description
Celebrating its 31st season this summer, the Bates Dance Festival (BDF), a program of Bates College in Lewiston is acclaimed as one of America's most important contemporary dance centers. Each summer, BDF offers six weeks of performances and events featuring internationally acclaimed contemporary dance and music artists. The 2013 season includes concerts by Nejla Yatkin/NY2Dance, Doug Varone and Dancers, Bebe Miller Company, Bridgman|Packer Dance, Different Voices and our popular "Musician's Concert" featuring music from around the world. Also this season are free events including a photo exhibit, lectures, panel discussions and improvisational performances.
