Description
Roosevelt Campobello International Park International memorial to Franklin D. Roosevelt. On Campobello Island, New Brunswick, just across the international bridge from Lubec, Maine. Main attraction is FDR's summer home. Visitor Center offers short video and interactive display. Beautiful flower gardens. Scenic vistas, picnic and observation areas, hiking trails, and beaches in 2,800 acre natural area. Open Saturday following Victoria Day (Sat. prior to U.S. Memorial Day) through Thanksgiving (U.S. Columbus Day), 9-5 EDT, seven days a week. Visitor Center open through the end of Oct. for the convenience of fall travelers. Natural Area open year-round. No admission charge. Day use. Lighthouse passport stamp for Mulholland Lighthouse.
