Description
The Maine Coast Sardine History Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the Maine sardine industry from its beginning in 1875 up to the present time. The museum contains numerous pictures, original letterheads, billheads, tins and labels as well as a variety of machines and much more. Knowledgeable staff members are on hand to answer questions. Souvenirs, books on the sardine industry, the local area and other items are available for purchase in the museum store. A small admission fee is charged. Group rates are available upon request.
2013 Season: Open June 18th through Sept 29th, Tue - Friday and Sundays 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM and all legal holidays.
