The Oakfield Railroad Museum is located in the 100-year-old former Bangor & Aroostook Railroad station in Oakfield. The museum, which opened in May, 1991, features B&A artifacts and memorabilia; a motor car; the rejuvenated "C-66" caboose; the weathervane from Oakfield's water tank; vintage signs; a reading room with historic photographs; maps; and much more. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
