Description

Deer Island Thorofare Light (also known as Mark Island Light) is a lighthouse on Penobscot Bay, Maine. It was built in 1857. It marks the west end of Deer Island Thorofare which runs from Penobscot Bay to Jericho Bay, between Deer Isle and Merchant Row.
