Description

Maine Maritime Museum, located on the banks of the scenic Kennebec River in Bath, offers galleries, seven fascinating exhibits, and activities for all ages. Stroll through the only intact historic U.S. shipyard - featuring five original buildings; take a behind-the-scenes tour of Bath Iron Works; learn the history of the Lobstering industry; go aboard and below a fishing schooner; enjoy a lighthouse and nature cruise; marvel at the life-size sculpture of the schooner Wyoming; tour the Victorian-era Donnell House; hear the story and view the remains of America's last clipper ship; picnic by the river as your children play on a pirate ship; and more. Daily, 9:30-5. General admission. Free admission for members and children under 6.
