BoomerTECH Adventures offers retreats for adults who want to become more creative and productive using technology in their personal and professional lives. These multi-day retreats are customized to the interests and skills levels of each participant. While learning about and how to use technology more productively is the primary focus, BoomerTECH retreats also allows opportunities for other activities and time to explore Maine.

BoomerTECH Adventures workshops range from digital photography to online etiquette to using smart phones and tablets smartly; from tips on writing your life story to becoming a smarter searcher to finding your niche in social networks. Some boomer participants may want to develop new technology and social media skills to use in their new entrepreneurial ventures! In short, the technology learning side is individualized to your interests and starting from your current skill level. No need to be concerned that you don’t have the knowledge to “keep up” with others! No competition, no pressure, just lots of opportunities to learn the skills and develop the abilities you would like to have.

Highlights of a BoomerTECH Adventures Retreat

  • Connect with adults who share your talents and interests
  • Learn specific skills about using technology
  • Use your technology skills to give back to your community
  • Have fun and take advantage of opportunities for fitness, visit museums and art galleries, and enjoy the beauty of Maine

Participants will have the opportunity to spend several days in one of several beautiful Maine locations— Orono, home of The University of Maine, or Bar Harbor, gateway to Acadia National Park, and others to be added soon. Each retreat will be 2-3 days allowing participants time to travel and enjoy Maine before and/or after the retreat.
