Our interpretive trails wind through 180 of old farmstead, which is now forest, and unique areas of headwater wetlands, which feed to the Pleasant River.Riparian areas; our own "canyon, an enriched hardwood site; Japanese Larch/Red Pine plantation, and homestead sites, all of which are included within our Demonstration Forest. As you walk the trails you will traverse the once-farmed fields, which are now growing timber. The forest offers hiking, bird watching, hunting, snow shoeing and cross country ski trails. There is an outdoor classroom, a geocache site, picnic tables and benches. Brochures are available to the public to explain the signifigance of each posted location along the trails.
