Sail with Captain Jack and Barbara Moore on the Schooner Surprise in Camden. You will enjoy the two hours of relaxation on board of this wonderful windjammer. This is the oldest day sailing windjammer in Camden and captain Jack is without a doubt one of the most experienced sailors. Together with his wife Barbara, you will be guaranteed a memorable and adventurous trip. Enjoy Camden Harbor and Penobscot Bay the best way... Just sail out and follow the breeze. On board there is sufficient room for viewing wildlife or soaking up the sun. Perhaps you will see the harbor seals or a harbor porpoise. There is also a wide variety of birds. You might spot some ducks, common loons or even the bald eagle! The Schooner Surprise sails three or four times each day. Our experience is that the last sail, when the sun sets and the breeze picks up, is the best time to sail out and explore the stunning coast of Penobscot Bay.

This package includes a two night stay in one of our luxurious guestrooms or suites, a gourmet a la carte breakfast prepared by our Pastry Chef each morning, champagne greeting with hors d'oeuvres, a memorable print signed by Captain Jack and a 2 hour sail on the Schooner Surprise (weather permitting). Prices start at $260 p.p. based on double occupancy.
