Description

This year's Adults Adventure Camp is a great chance to experience the best of the Appalachian Mountain Club Maine Woods Lodges while having fun with outdoor-oriented people. Little Lyford Lodge and Cabins will be your base camp for this adventure. All week you can go on special hikes and paddle on the ponds where you will experience vistas that will take your breath away and see wildlife like loons, moose, eagles and other birds. One day will be spent hiking down to the waterfalls in Gulf Hagas, touted to be the Grand Canyon of the East. Another day will be spent paddling Long Pond with lunch at Coyote Point. A hike up Chairback Mountain to take in the view of the White Cap Mountain Range will also be offered. In the evenings there will be programming provided, around the campfire if weather permits. This will be a vacation you will talk about all winter long. Activity level: Moderate. Rates include lodging, meals, and guided activities. Higher rates apply for private cabins.
