Description

Here is a great way to get to know Little Lyford Pond Camps and the surrounding area. Take advantage of the opportunity of this guided hike. Many guests have voiced that they would like a guided hike down to Gulf Hagas, sometimes referred to as the Grand Canyon of Maine; it is a wonderland of waterfalls. In order to see all of the best waterfalls the group will set out from Little Lyford Saturday morning and hike down to see Stairs Falls then on to Billings Falls and finally to Buttermilk Falls before returning to camp arriving in time to take a hot shower or paddle the pond before dinner. After dinner there will be an evening program on the Natural History of the area. Please bring a sleeping bag and towel as they are not provided at Little Lyford Lodge. Activities planned for children age 9 and over. Rates include lodging, meals, and guided activities. Higher rates apply for private cabins.
