Description

Many people have asked for a special watercolor weekend, so here it is! The beautiful location of Gorman Chairback Lodge is the perfect canvas to set up that easel and wet the palette. This weekend will have evening programming with local watercolor artist John Bozin showing his special style derived from plein air watercolor sketches and digital photographs. John has been teaching watercolor painting at all levels for years at different venues. He focuses on teaching to simplify watercolor techniques and giving tips on improving your own talent. Saturday a guided hike and a paddle will be offered to participants to give inspiration for an evening of painting. Some supplies will be available along with different types of paper to work with. Come spend a weekend with others who have the same interest as you do in watercolor. Activities planned for adults and children age 9 and older. Rates include lodging, meals, guided activities and instruction. Higher rates apply for private cabins.
