Description

This year's Adults Adventure Camp is a great chance to experience the Appalachian Mountain Club's Maine Woods while having fun with outdoor-oriented people. This week's Adventure camp will be based out of Gorman Chairback Lodge and Cabins. The schedule will include a hike up Chairback Mountain to take in the view of the White Cap Mountain Range, a paddle on Long Pond Lake with lunch at Coyote Point (a remote paddle-to campsite), a hike into Gulf Hagas to see Screw Auger Falls, and a day hiking up Third Mountain to the Appalachian Trail. In the evenings there will be programming provided, around the campfire if weather permits. This will be a vacation you will talk about all winter long. Rates include lodging, meals, guided activities, and an AMC water bottle. Higher rates apply for private cabins.
