Experience living history demonstrations, exhibits, and engaging activities remembering the activities of the Civil War in the Spring of 1863 at Maine's oldest living history farm and museum. Event features civilian and infantry encampments, a battle, cannon fire, field hospital, blacksmith, museum tours, exhibits and craft demonstrations, organ concert, 19th century church service, wagon rides, farm-life scenarios, Victorian fashion show, and more. Pig Roast & Bean Supper at 5 pm on Saturday night, followed by a Contra Dance at 7 pm featuring the sounds of The Racket Factory (fiddlers & more). Join the Civil War reenactors and Norlands' historians, as they dance in hoop skirts and Civil War military uniforms.
