When your feet first push those pedals, and the clean air starts to whistle across your face, a sense of adventure pours over you. Unexpected sights, sounds and smells come rushing in from every direction, and before long you feel like a kid again.

And it makes sense. Because your inner child is free, and you’re riding a bike again. And you’re doing it in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Maybe you’re an experienced road bicyclist, or mountain trail pro, and you brought your bike from home. This is already what you love to do, and a place you always wanted to do it. Or maybe it’s been a long time since you’ve been on a bike, and you didn’t come here to go biking. But when you walk past the bike rental shops, and see every type of bike imaginable, you know it’s time to get back to having some fun.

You can always find a bike here that’s right for you, whether your goal is to see as many coastal sights as you can, or to climb high up the winding mountain trails. If you want some ideas on where to go and what to do with your bike, you can begin at Bike Maine. Then, start down any path here, and you’ll discover even more.
