Biddeford Pool Beach in Biddeford lies at the eastern end of a two-mile-long stretch of sandy beach that connects with Fortunes Rocks Beach to the west. Dunes and sea grass border the beach and the rocky point at Biddeford Pool juts out into the ocean just to the north. This continuous expanse of sand gives you plenty of room to relax, play, swim and explore. You can also surf, body board and skim board. Biddeford Pool, a tidal lagoon just north of the beach, is also popular with sea kayakers.
This city-owned public beach offers plenty of parking, restrooms, bathhouses for changing, and benches for picnicking. Lifeguards are on duty. Parking is by permit only, available from the City Clerk’s office at Biddeford City Hall.
