Prospect Harbor Point Light

X

Prospect Harbor Point was built in 1850. This white cylindrical lighthouse with a black lantern top matches the keeper's house, a classic New England clapboard home with black trim. It was sold by the federal government in 1934 and is now privately owned. The U.S. Navy leases it as a guesthouse for Navy and Coast Guard personnel and their families. You can drive to the entrance of the Navy installation for a good view.
