  Steamed, broiled, poached, grilled, stuffed, baked, chowder or bisque… in Maine, you can have your lobster just about any way you can imagine, but perhaps the most popular is in a roll. While opinions vary on what makes the perfect Maine lobster roll, purists prefer fresh chunks of lobster meat stuffed in a grilled, split-top hot dog roll, no mayo or dressing, but perhaps with a light drizzle of melted butter. This down home, unpretentious delicacy can be found throughout the state in restaurants, lobster shacks, hometown diners and sandwich shops.
