This Trip Idea requires travel to the northernmost part of our beautiful state and offers fantastic opportunities for remote nature and wildlife activities.
Turn off I-95 onto State Route 212W, follow to the end (10 miles) west to State Route 11 North to Eagle Lake (about 70 miles from I-95).
This is a leisurely and scenic drive, be sure to watch for moose!
Arrive at historic Eagle Lake Sporting Camps. Enjoy lunch on the deck overlooking Eagle Lake. Ahhh!
Spend your afternoon viewing specialty birds or boreal species, either on land or water. During spring and summer there are 16 hours of daylight here, so an avid birder can sometimes record as many as 100 species in a day!
Star gazing at its best and brightest, the Camps are off the grid!
